A catholic priest opened the gates to the chapel in Bethlehem, Palestina, to let tourists in, including two women who were being harassed by two men. The priest talked to the men and then of them pulled a knife and stabbed the priest. Thankfully the injury was minor.
A group of christian preachers in Uganda were attacked by muslims who accused them of “despising islamic teachings” and “trying to demoralise islam”. The muslims claimed that one of the pastors had said that christianity was far better than islam and that the christians “waged a war on muslims” so that they had no choice but to declare jihad on them. The christians denied all their accusations.
Christians in a village in Pakistan have been told by the muslim majority to remove all signs that showed that their church was a church. They were also forced to sign a document where they promised not to hold services.
A protestant church was closed by the local muslim population in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. They said that the approval the congregation had been given by authorities wasn’t valid.
Mauretania used to give a convert or christian three days to rethink their choice and then sentencing them in prison or to death if they didn’t go back to islam. But in April a new law was passed that means that those three days will disapear. Everyone will get punished. And all things that are considered to be sacrilegous will, according to this law, be punished with death. This makes it almost impossible to leave islam and harder to live as a christian.
A man sat in his car directly outside a church in Pennsylvania, USA, and listened to the sermon. He then started yelling that the pastor or perhaps christians in general pressed on his nerves, pressed on muslims nerves. He also screamed that they all would go straight to hell on Judgement Day.
A bible-translator in Cameroon was shoot at outside his home and then the men went on to knock down everything in the house and set it on fire. Neither the man or his family was harmed.
US missionary Jeff Woodke have been a prisoner after being kidnapped in Niger and there have been no news from him in 18 months. Now the president of the country have said that Jeff is alive and that they are working on getting him released.
After Austria announced that they will close seven mosques and expel imams that are being paid by Turkey Erdogans held a speech saying:
“These measures taken by the Austrian prime minister are, I fear, leading the world toward a war between the cross and the crescent.”
