Uttarakhand is the seventh state in India to hold an anti-conversion law. The idea of such a law is originally to stop forced conversions, but they are often used to hinder the movement and growth of the christian community. Needing permission from the state to change your religion makes it very hard to read or discuss about faith.

The facade of S:t Olav’s Church in Skellefteå, Sweden, were graffitied with the word jihad in capital letters and some sort of symbol . SVT, Swedens public service television, had a photo of it online, but soon removed it beacause it was too sensitive. And then a representative for the church said:

– I do not interpret the message in any way, but I hope and believe it’s a common doodle. Similar scrawls have appeared on a garage in Anderstorp. We hope and believe that this is a prank.

Four christian men have been found guilty of acting against Iran’s national security and spreading so-called zionist christianity. They face ten years in jail and this may be the Iranian Governments way attack the countrys minorities after the iranian deal broke. But despite harsh persecution, christianity is growing faster in Iran than in any other country in the world.

Seventeen-year-old Sharoon Masih, a christian pakistani boy, was beaten to death in a classroom in august 2017 by a fellow student. The court say they have no clear evidence of the boys guilt even though the whole class testified on what happened. The Masih family have now accepted diyat, an islamic custom of blood money, that makes the accused go free. That’s the only justice they can get.

Brother Ahmed in Pakistan was acquitted for charges of blasphemy, but even though this is good news he still has a fatwa on him. This means that muslims may kill him whenever they want.

Four kenyans, said to be christian quarry workers, were shot and hacked to death by Al-shabaab.

Suicide bombers attacked Santa Maria Roman Catholic Church, Christian Church of Diponegoro and Pantekosta Church in Surabaya, Indonesia, minutes before mass on sunday morning. Thirteen people, including the bombers that were a family of six, died. 41 persons were injured.

The family had recently returned from Syria where they lived in an area controlled by ISIS. That organization took on the responsibiliy for the bombing. Three unexploded homemade boms were later discovered and detonated by the police. National police killed four and arrested two members of the ISIS-group Jemaah Anshorut Daulah the same day, but it’s not known if they were involved in this bombing.

Ten members of the Fulani Militia, the fourth deadliest terrorist group in the world, were killed by the nigerian military and one was arrested. They were on their way to attack people holding vigil at a funeral.
